👉 CME To Launch "Micro" Options For BTC And ETH

CME Group Inc plans to launch "micro" Bitcoin and Ether options contracts toward the end of this month – subject to regulatory approval.

If approved by regulators, the micro options contracts will enable greater participation from retail traders, due to being one-tenth of the size of a BTC or ETH coin. Previously only easily accessible to institution-sized traders, smaller CME traders will now be able to execute more advanced trading strategies using options contracts.

👉 Hackers Selling ETH Hash Rate Limiter Bypass For Nvidia Chips

A hacking group called LAPSUS$ is selling software used to bypass the Ethereum hash rate limiter on Nvidia graphics cards. The limiter was designed to stop crypto miners from purchasing graphics cards designed for gamers.

The hack uses a customized version of a driver and firmware, that enables miners to utilize the graphics cards as normal for cryptocurrency mining purposes.

Citadel CEO and founder Kenneth Griffin has stated that "it's fair to assume" that Citadel will be engaging in market-making in the cryptocurrency sector in the coming months.

Despite acknowledging that he has long been a crypto "naysayer", Griffin conceded that at a $2 trillion total crypto market cap, he hasn't been right on his call.
