US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has called for cryptocurrency regulation in a speech today, citing a need to reduce risks and fraud in the space.
Yellen emphasized that the government needs to create "tech neutral" regulations that ensure "responsible innovation", that focus on impact to households and businesses, rather than the underlying technology.
The speech was delivered at American University’s Kogod School of Business Center for Innovation.
Block's Cash App has rolled out three new services, including providing the ability to automatically allocate a portion of your paycheck to purchase Bitcoin.
