👉 Binance To Take A $200M Stake In Forbes

Crypto exchange giant Binance is taking a $200 million stake in Forbes – half of a $400 million private investment in public equity. Forbes announced the public equity investment in August of last year, with plans to go public via a special purpose acquisition company called Magnum Opus.

Binance had previously sued Forbes for defamation in late 2020, alleging that the publication had made false allegations about the exchange. Binance did not follow through with the case.

👉 EOS Network Foundation To Seek $4.1B In Damages From Block.one

The EOS Network Foundation’s (ENF) is potentially seeking $4.1 billion in damages from Block.one, according to ENF founder and CEO Yves La Rose.

According the foundation, Block.one – the creators of the EOS blockchain – have not kept past promises, resulting in the harm of EOS users and the community. The community has also reportedly decided to freeze the future vesting of EOS tokens to Block.one.

👉 Algorand Foundation Appoints Former JPM And Nasdaq Alum As CEO

The Algorand Foundation – the organization behind the high-speed Algorand blockchain – has appointed Staci Warden as its new CEO.

Warden was formerly a JPMorgan executive director, running international relationships across several continents. She also previously worked as Nasdaq, overseeing the development of its microcap platform BBX.
