Polygon's new NFT and gaming hub, Polygon Studios, has launched with a collectible NFT project for cricket fans.
The project, called Rario, is an officially licensed cricket NFT platform, which will enable users to collect and trade historic cricket highlights – similar to Dapper's NBA Top Shot.
Rario has already established partnerships with cricket leagues around the globe, such as Lanka Premier League and the Caribbean Premier League.
A report from London's Moore Global has declared that tokenized real estate has the potential to become a $1.4 trillion market within the next five years.
The figure represents just 0.5% of the total global property market, which is valued at $280 trillion. Moore Global believes that blockchain will boost liquidity in the sector via efficient, disintermediated infrastructure.
The Poly Network hacker has returned almost all of the $611 million in funds that they stole from the protocol, aside from the $33 million USDT that was frozen by the stablecoin provider.
Funds stolen and returned included Binance Bitcoin (BTCB), Ether (ETH) and Binance USD (BUSD). The hack, which occurred on Aug 10, was the largest in DeFi history.
