Bitcoin's hashrate – the computing power securing the network – has tripled since June 28 of this year, when China cracked down on crypto mining.
The network's hashrate bottomed out towards the end of June, at a low of just 52 Exahashes (EH/s). According to CryptoQuant, this figure has now reached 152 EH/s.
Such a strong recovery is indicative of successful miner migration, as hashrate moves away from China.
American beer company Budweiser has allegedly purchased an Ethereum Name Service domain name NFT, Beer.eth, for 30 Ether (ETH).
Budweiser has also set its profile picture on Twitter to an NFT digital artist's art – a rocket ship designed by Tom Sachs. The rocket had been recently purchased for 8 ETH, according to data from OpenSea.
Bitstamp founder Nejc Kodrič is suing the cryptocurrency exchange he created, following an attempt by its new owners to buy him out of the company.
The lawsuit involves a call option that was exercised in July, which would acquire Kodrič's shares at a price he claims is well below the present value of the shares.
