The actions were uncovered by pseudonymous Twitter user @ZuwuTV, who pointed out that Chastain had been using alternative wallets to buy NFTs that were to be listed on the front page of the platform, before they were featured. OpenSea released a statement confirming that an employee had indeed been participating in the alleged activities, but did not mention the employee by name. American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has applied to the National Futures Association, to become a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM).
