Ethereum scaling solution Polygon has surpassed Ethereum itself in terms of unique daily addresses, after an explosion in growth over the last 30 days.
Unique daily addresses on Polygon have reached a record of 566,516, following a 168% increase for the month. Ethereum posted a total of 527,158 unique active addresses on the same day.
Polygon's popularity has been attributed to its faster and cheaper transactions, as well as its Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) compatibility.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has published a set of policies focused on cryptocurrency, in an effort to mitigate risks to global financial stability.
