NFT marketplace OpenSea's head of product, Nate Chastain, has allegedly been participating in insider trading on the platform.
The actions were uncovered by pseudonymous Twitter user @ZuwuTV, who pointed out that Chastain had been using alternative wallets to buy NFTs that were to be listed on the front page of the platform, before they were featured.
OpenSea released a statement confirming that an employee had indeed been participating in the alleged activities, but did not mention the employee by name.
American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has applied to the National Futures Association, to become a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM).
If successful, the application will enable Coinbase to begin offering futures and derivatives trading on the exchange, keeping the platform up to speed with the likes of Binance and FTX, who already offer futures markets.
