Cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX is launching its own token called BMEX, which will be airdropped to new and existing users.
The airdrop will occur on February 1st of next year, with existing traders earning BMEX tokens as they trade. The first 50,000 new users with completed verification can also register to receive free BMEX tokens.
BMEX will gave a maximum supply of 450 million tokens, with a litepaper to be published next year.
Ethereum's Kintsugi testnet is now available to the public, enabling the wider community to test features and applications in the lead-up to the network's proof-of-stake (PoS) transition.
The move is an important step in the network's development – once these recent testnets reach stability, it will be the main chain's turn to transition into the PoS mechanism.
