Bitcoin price has bounced back over the last day of trading, reclaiming the $60,000 level following a sharp drop yesterday.

Top-20 altcoins have somewhat recovered, with Shiba Inu and Dogecoin leading the charge with 40% and 23% rises, respectively. Ethereum has gained 2% and Cardano has remained unchanged.

👉 Shiba Inu Surpasses Robinhood & Etsy In Market Cap

Meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB) has overtaken Robinhood, Etsy and Pinterest in market capitalization, after reaching a new all-time high of more than $40 billion.

The SHIB token has increased almost eleven-fold over the last month, with help from an increasing interest in the coin being listed on Robinhood and a recent listing on Coinbase.

Shiba Inu has now "flipped" Dogecoin in terms of marketcap and is currently the ninth-largest cryptocurrency on the market.

👉 FATF Releases Guidance For Companies Associated With Crypto

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), a global anti money-laundering agency, has published new guidance for companies dealing with crypto.

The guidance appears to be rounding the sector into existing regulations for banks, and signals that regulation is well on its way for cryptocurrency firms.

👉 DeFi Platform Cream Finance Exploited For $130 Million

Ethereum-based decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, Cream Finance, has been exploited for over $130 million in user funds, consisting mostly of liquidity provider tokens and ERC20 tokens.

Yearn Finance developers, along with others in the community, assisted the project in identifying the vulnerabilities leading to the attack. These have since been patched.
