Altcoins are a mixed bag, with most top-20 coins remaining relatively stationary. Ripple was an exception, rising 3% in the last day of trading. Monero is the biggest mover in the top-20, going on a 13% tear to the upside.

👉 Venezuelan President Announces Further Petro Coin Plans

Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro has created 6 new funds backed by the government's infamous petro cryptocurrency, in an effort to legitimize the currency.

Maduro has also recently acknowledged that the Venezuelan government owns both Bitcoin and Ether as part of its international reserves.

👉 India's Hearing for Cryptocurrency Ban Postponed

The Supreme Court hearing regarding India's ban on crypto-related bank activity has been postponed until November.

The ban, initiated by the Reserve Bank of India, will prohibit all banks and financial institutions from providing services related to crypto assets.

👉 Bitcoin Mining Revenue up $1 Billion in Just Two Months

It's been a productive month for Bitcoin mining, with all-time mining revenue leaping by a full $1 Billion over the last two months.

This puts total revenue for Bitcoin mining at $15 Billion since it's inception. This includes all block rewards and transaction fees taken by miners.
