👉 South Korea to Tax 20% on Cryptocurrency Profits

The South Korean government has plans to charge a 20% on gains made on cryptocurrency transactions.

The finance ministry had recently reallocated the review of a crypto tax plan from its office of property tax, to its office of income tax.

Speculation has arisen that cryptocurrency profits will be treated as other income, rather than capital gains.

👉XRP Can Soon be Spent at Major Retailers via BitPay

Beginning next week, BitPay users will be able to purchase gift cards with XRP, which can be spent at several major retailers, including Amazon.

BitPay is designed to enable businesses to easily take cryptocurrency payments and store their crypto, and opened support for XRP late last year.

👉 Craig Wright Confirmed to Not Have Access to $8b of Bitcoin

Craig Wright's lawyer has confirmed that he does not have access to $8b worth of Bitcoin, which were mined by Satoshi Nakamoto.

Wright had previously claimed the existence of an encrypted file of public and private keys for addresses he owns, however has not yet received the file.
