The vulnerability was published by two researchers from Israel’s Hebrew University, in a paper which outlines the "flood and loot" attack. The attack involves a forced congestion of the network, followed by leveraging the congestion to empty wallets. Binance is finalizing a deal which will give them a majority stake in Swipe.io, a crypto payments company who provide a crypto-to-fiat Visa debit card. Binance was reported earlier this year to be launching their own "Binance Card", which has now been revealed to be released as a white-label product via Swipe. The Linux Foundation’s Confidential Computing Consortium (CCC) has doubled their number of blockchain-based companies involved in the group, with recent additions of IoTeX and R3. Facebook, Accenture, Nvidia and multiple other companies have also joined the CCC, which was created in late 2019.
