Recipients include Ethereum's ConsenSys, Tron's Rainberry Inc, Bittrex, and Polychain Capital, in a total of more than 75 blockchain and cryptocurrency-based companies. The loans are all part of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which was designed to assist businesses in paying their employees during the economic crisis. UK-based cryptocurrency exchange Crypto Facilities - owned by Kraken - has acquired a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) license, allowing them to offer derivatives products to institutional investors. The license, granted by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), will legally open the doors to several new groups of clients, who previously may have been restricted from accessing the Crypto Facilities' services. Afghanistanβs Ministry of Health is looking to trial a "smart-medicine" pilot program, which will be based on the Fantom blockchain.
