The OCC's new policy was laid out in an unaddressed letter published by the regulator this week, specifically stating that banks are authorized to "provide cryptocurrency custody services for customers". OMG Network's cryptocurrency token (OMG) is now officially a regulated compliant cryptocurrency in Japan, following approval by their Financial Services Agency (FSA).
