| Editor's Picks The AGCME recently launched AWARE Well-Being Resources to provide the GME community on-demand tools to address stress and burnout among clinicians. The resources, available free of charge, are part of the organization’s broader physician well-being initiative. The program director will value the coordinator as a critical administrative team member once he or she sees the coordinator as a professional who has an in-depth understanding of accreditation requirements, GME concepts, and management needs of the training program. There are several actions that coordinators can take to build a respectful and supportive working relationship with the program director. In past iterations of the Residency Coordinator Salary Survey, respondents who earn $35,000 or less annually (lowest-paid professionals) have made up a small percentage of survey takers. This year, 11% of survey respondents fall within this category, up from 7% last year.
