IFIS and EBSCO invite you to take part in a free webinar “Building Confidence:  Is Your Food Information Research Authoritative?”. This webinar is part of EBSCO’s Inspired Webinar Series, which explores research challenges unique to each field of study and solutions which can commence in the library.

With so much information available online, it can be difficult to find reputable research that meets the needs of your faculty and students. Carol Hollier of IFIS Publishing will show you how to identify authoritative sources and relevant research all directly relating to the sciences of food and health, and share the IFIS Publishing initiative to develop and disseminate best practice guidelines for literature search in the field.

Attendees Will Learn

•    The top challenges faced by researchers in the global food community
•    Approaches IFIS is taking to help researchers overcome these challenges
•    How the IFIS toolkit of solutions can be incorporated and adapted to any library or classroom

Speaker:

Carol Hollier, Senior Information Literacy and Outreach Manager, IFIS Publishing
