| | Colombia´s National Government adopts measures to promote public purchases of technology and innovation. | Through Decree 442 of March 28, 2022, issued by Colombia´s National Planning Department, article 36 of the Entrepreneurship Law (Law 2069 of 2020) was regulated, which is intended to promote innovation and usage of new technologies by companies and entrepreneurs, and their incorporation in the functions or systems of state entities. | Ver más |

| | Colombia’s Constitutional Court declares Trade Agreement signed with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as constitutional. | On a press release, Colombia’s Constitutional Court declared as “in accordance with the Constitution” a Trade Agreement and its approving Law 2067 of 2020 "by which the Trade Agreement entered into by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on one part, and the Republic of Colombia, the Republic of Ecuador and the Republic of Peru, on the other', signed in Quito, on May 15, 2019”. It now corresponds to Colombia’s President to advance with other procedures to complete the implementation of the agreement. Such procedures include: (i) enactment of the law, (ii) exchange of notes, and (iii) promulgation. | Ver más |
