Colombia’s oil reserves closed at 6.3 years of consumption .

This is a stable number versus 2019 despite declining 11% to 1.82 billion barrels as lower oil prices caused exploration activity to decline.

Colombia announced the elimination of a negative PCR test to enter the country.

As part of the reactivation plan, Colombia’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection (Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social) determined that it will eliminate the requisite of a negative PCR test and prior registration in the app “CoronaApp”, in the hopes that these measures boost the economy.

The border with Venezuela opened after 14 months.

Colombia considered that it was feasible to lift the gradual closure of land and river crossings at the border with Venezuela, but with strict surveillance on biosecurity protocols. Entry to Colombia will be organized according to the last digit of Venezuelan’s identity card.
