Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam hosts Buro Stedelijk’s manifestation #1: Listening Sessions at the Teijin Auditorium. Buro Stedelijk opens to visitors from 26 May 2023.

Buro is a versatile art space that celebrates community and encourages innovative and boundary-pushing art. A place where curators, artists and other makers have the freedom to create and present new work giving fresh energy and inspiration to Amsterdam.
About manifestation #1
Buro Stedelijk's upcoming manifestation #1 is an engaging and thought-provoking two-day event on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 April. During the Listening Sessions, we present and listen to a diverse range of proposals received through our open call, as well as from invited speakers. The overarching aim of the sessions is to engage in critical discussions and exchange innovative ideas about various topics that hold significance for Buro Stedelijk, such as archives, cultural labour, institution building, and mediation.
Throughout two days, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a variety of presentations, performative manifestations and talks, each carefully curated to stimulate conversation and inspire different ways of thinking. The sessions will be moderated by Yvette Mutumba, ensuring an engaging and intellectually stimulating experience.
We would like to welcome everyone to come and listen, ask questions, and share their own unique perspectives on the matters at hand.
