Join us at Dreamtime 2017

The Australian business events industry is invited to register today to secure their place at Dreamtime 2017, held from 3 to 6 December 2017 in Brisbane, Queensland.

Held in partnership with Brisbane Convention Bureau, Dreamtime is Tourism Australia’s signature incentive showcase, providing Australian industry with the opportunity to meet and do business with qualified international incentive planners and business events media. The showcase includes business to business appointments as well as networking functions.

In 2015, Dreamtime delivered more than 115 business leads for Australia and 100 per cent event satisfaction from Australian industry. Registrations for Dreamtime 2017 are open until Friday 25 August 2017.

BEA's distribution program delivers

Business Events Australia’s distribution program continues to deliver strong outcomes for Australia. In the last financial year, Australian industry attending international trade shows as part of the program secured more than 200 business leads, including over 50 leads generated during IMEX Frankfurt. New appointment for UK/ Europe

This month we welcome to the team Simon Gidman, Tourism Australia’s new Business Events Manager for UK/ Europe, who will have a strong focus on the association sector. Simon joins the Business Events Australia team from VisitEngland, where he was Head of Business Events for more than 10 years. Simon is based in Tourism Australia’s London offices and commences on 7 August.

A recent article in the U.S. publication Incentive magazine, Australia Excites, has reached a potential audience of 40,000 USA incentive planners. The article, which appears in the May/June 2017 edition, highlights Australia’s aquatic and coastal experiences for business events groups as well as new developments including Aloft Perth, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns and more.
