From new business events trends to tips on planning a visit to market, Tourism Australia’s dedicated business events market profiles provide key insights that will assist you in conducting business in the China, New Zealand, North America and UK/Europe markets. The profiles, available now on Tourism Australia’s website, will be released bi-annually.

China Educational Uluru   BEA networks with association delegates
Australia was front and centre with 30 UK based association delegates at the Oysters’ Association Lunch in London this month, attended by Tourism Australia’s in market business events manager, Lene Corgan, who is also the Chair of the Oysters. Attending the networking lunch were representatives from the International Bar Association, The World Confederations for Physical Therapy, International Marine Contractors Association and the World Federation of NeuroRehabilitation. The Oysters, a group of UK based business events professionals from national tourism boards and convention bureaux, provide advice and information to associations considering an international destination for their event.

Did you know that Tourism Australia has a range of free marketing tools? From incentive and association fact sheets to films featuring international business events buyers experiencing Australian destinations and products, these tools are updated on a regular basis and are available on the Business Events Australia website. Advance Program 2016-17   NZ educational delivers instant results
Three business leads have already been generated for Australia following the Business Events Australia New Zealand educational visit, hosted earlier this month in partnership with Business Events Gold Coast, Elements of Byron and Virgin Australia. The visit, held in Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, was attended by seven New Zealand agents who had the opportunity to try new products and experiences and learn more about Australia’s unique business events offering.
