Bid Fund Program Progress Report

Since its launch on 1 May 2018, Tourism Australia's Business Events Bid Fund Program (BFP) has received over 69 applications for events worth a combined economic impact of over AUD503 million. With ten bids worth over AUD97 million now converted to business for Australia, the BFP is delivering tangible benefits only six months since its launch. Greater China Showcase 2018

The Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase, held in Australia for the first time ever on 26 and 27 November 2018, is already delivering results. Over 20 business leads have been reported by Australian industry to date, and more than 2.3 billion people were reached by international media articles generated by Business Events Australia (BEA) on the Showcase. IMEX America 2018 Snapshot

With over 70 leads already reported and a record 29 Australian industry representatives on the Business Events Australia stand, IMEX America 2018 was one of the biggest ever for Australia. A key business events trade show, IMEX America provides the opportunity to meet with international meetings planners and decision makers from around the world. 'Australia Next' launches in NZ

New Zealand incentive planners have given a big thumbs up to 'Australia Next', BEA's new bespoke magazine created especially to meet their needs. The magazine focusses on inspiration and practical information on the latest experiences, destinations, products and suppliers in Australia.
