Australia's business events on show in New Zealand Australia’s business events capability and diversity of offer was on show in New Zealand this week, with over 100 New Zealand incentive agents, corporate clients and media in attendance. Australian event agency, Belle Laide Events, created an interactive experience for guests, based on the theme of ‘Best of Australia’, highlighting culture and events, coastal and aquatic, nature and wildlife, luxury and indulgence, and food and wine. This month, Tourism Australia’s Greater China team have held four tailored events as part of its Business Events Australia’s (BEA) Best Partner Program, held in partnership with key event agency distribution partners in market. Partnering with an Australian convention bureau for each event, BEA’s Best Partner Program provides corporate end users with a taste of Australia’s diverse destinations and unique business events offering. | ||
Tropical North Queensland hosts educational | ||
Seven New Zealand incentive agents and one journalist took part in an educational to Lizard Island, Cairns and Port Douglas this month to experience the region’s business events product. One buyer commented, “the recent educational trip hosted by Business Events Australia and their partners demonstrated what a sophisticated and polished product the tropical north of Queensland has to offer.” Delivered in partnership with Business Events Cairns and Great Barrier Reef, one of the highlights of the educational included a visit to the Lizard Island Research Station, a coral reef research facility on the island. |

Business Events Australia (BEA) has unveiled a set of new incentive fact sheets to inform and inspire decision makers on Australia’s world-class business events offering. The fact sheets cover 13 Australian destinations including: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Northern Territory, Perth, Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Tasmania, Townsville and the Whitsundays. Available now on the BEA website, the fact sheets will be distributed to BEA’s teams in market, at international trade shows and on its social media channels. |

This month, Business Events Australia exhibited at The Meetings Show, UK’s largest gathering of meeting suppliers under one roof. The event, which was held in London, was attended by over 3,000 meetings industry professionals and 900 key UK and international buyers. |
