Australia on show in Europe

This month, Tourism Australia’s Business Events Australia team will again head to two key international trade shows in Europe – the Associations World Congress and IMEX Frankfurt – in partnership with the Australian business events industry. Both trade shows provide the opportunity to meet and network with qualified buyers and media, gain market insights, and generate business for Australia.

Business Events Australia was joined by five stand partners at Associations World Congress in Vienna from 2 to 4 May. This key annual meeting for association leaders and executives attracts more than 200 participants from more than 20 countries.

IMEX Frankfurt, held from the 16 to 18 May, will have a strong Australia presence with 16 business events products and destinations exhibiting on the Business Events Australia’s stand. IMEX Frankfurt is one of the world’s biggest business events trade shows, with international planners from the conference, convention and corporate events industries gathering to do business.

The educational, which visited Port Douglas and Sydney, provided agents with the opportunity to experience Australia’s business events incentive product first hand.
