Phase 4 of COVID-19 roadmap Western Australia’s COVID-19 restrictions will be relaxed even further, as WA’s roadmap is updated to complete the removal of all restrictions. Due to the world-leading response to COVID in WA, Phase 4 will start on Saturday, 27 June (11.59pm Friday, 26 June) and the following will apply: - all existing gathering limits and the 100/300 rule removed
- gathering limits only determined by WA’s reduced 2sqm rule
- the 2sqm rule will only include staff at venues that hold more than 500 patrons
- removal of seated service requirements at food businesses and licensed premises
- no requirement to maintain patron register at food businesses and licensed premises
- alcohol can be served as part of unseated service arrangements
- all events permitted except for large scale, multi-stage music festivals
- unseated performances permitted at venues such as concert halls, live music venues, bars, pubs and nightclubs
- gyms operating unstaffed, but regular cleaning must be maintained
- the casino gaming floor reopening under agreed temporary restrictions.

We need your input: MARKYT Community Resilience Scorecard Community members across Western Australia are being invited to take part in an important state-wide survey.
This survey is a collaboration involving the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, 139 Local Governments, Local Government Professionals WA, CATALYSE® and community members across Western Australia.
The study will gather and share baseline and informing data to help local communities to recover and thrive following the COVID-19 outbreak in Australia. This study will provide direct benefit to your local government and local community. Your Local Government will - get robust data to see how the community is coping.

Have your say on the AMC Draft Strategic Infrastructure and Land Use Plan The Western Australian Government is seeking the views of the resource, marine and defence industries and surrounding community on the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) Draft Strategic Infrastructure and Land Use Plan. The plan highlights the short, medium and long-term infrastructure upgrades required to guide the ongoing development of the AMC as a nationally significant industrial area for the defence, marine and resources industries.
When finalised, the plan will guide all future land and infrastructure development in the AMC. Visit the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation’s website to view the plan and further information. |

2 Ignition Scholarships available! The Curtin Ignition Program is an intensive entrepreneurial education program that runs from 30th August – 4th September, 2020. The program is for aspiring entrepreneurs, academics and corporate innovators to trial and prepare business ideas for the commercial environment.
Curtin Ignition is suited to founders of early stage, high-growth business ventures and people with new ideas that have the potential to become high-growth, worldwide businesses.
The program total cost is $3,250 and comprises of a blend of keynote and workshop teaching sessions, small group mentoring, panel, clinic and networking.
