For Round 24 of the Cooperative Research Centre Grants
Are you a business who could help solve Australia’s economic, environmental or social challenges?

If yes, then the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) grants are for you.

About the CRC Program
The CRC Program supports industry led collaborations between business, researchers and the community. The program links researchers with industry partners to develop the commercialisation of this work.

The Australian Government committed a total of $806 million over four years for the CRC Program from 2022-23 to 2025-26. Grants amounts vary each round, but the grant covers 50% of eligible grant project costs.

There is no minimum and maximum grant amount. The average CRC grant in recent rounds was $45 million and is proportional to the scope and complexity of your project. Learn more about the grants in the fact sheets available here.

Who is eligible to apply?
CRC grants are open to all industry sectors and research disciplines. As the research is a collaboration, applications are submitted as a group who have agreed to collaborate.

One aspect of eligibility is to ensure each CRC must include and maintain amongst its project partners at least:

  • one Australian industry entity
  • one Australian research organisation.

There are further details on eligibility criteria provided at this link.  Please note, applications close 7 March, use the button below to get started on applying.
