Cockburn businesses keen to become defence suppliers

It was a full house for Defence Industry supplier breakfast briefing last Thursday at the Melville Cockburn Chamber of Commerce (MCCC).
Greg Blycha, Defence Advisor (ODIS), Victoria Green, Executive Corporate Affairs, City of Cockburn and local business owners Phil Holman CEO, Vista Energy, shared engaging and informative presentations about the opportunity that exists for small businesses.

It was clear that with a world-class defence and industrial hub located in Henderson, home to a $15 billion cluster of marine infrastructure and several defence prime contractors, small businesses can tap into a significant investment from defence and within the local economy.

By becoming defence suppliers, small business owners can secure long-term contracts, gain exposure to new markets, and become a part of this growth sector.

Businesses who want to explore this opportunity are encouraged to get started using the ODIS Defence Business Readiness Tool.

For more information about this and to connect with ODIS, visit their website using the link below.
