Business leaders to discuss success during MTC event

Lou Kennedy, Vanessa Mota and Carolyn Sawyer will take part in an online event presented Wednesday by Midlands Technical College. The women will discuss keys to their success beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Chapin High English teacher finalist for state award

Amy Carter is one of five finalists for the S.C. Teacher of the Year awarded, to be announced during a gala in Columba in May. Carter receives $10,000 and advances to the next stage of the competition.
