Tuesday morning will bring temperatures even colder. Lows will dip into the mid-20s in the Twin Cities, with teens in northern Minnesota. The last time the Twin Cities was as cold as 25 degrees was on April 19. Get the latest on Updraft.

Businesses and cities navigate patchwork THC landscape after legalization  
The state legalization of THC products in July delighted some Minnesotans. But critics say the new law lacks proper regulation. As a result several communities have imposed local ordinances and some outright bans on retailers. Now THC businesses find themselves navigating a changing patchwork of retail regulations. 
 
What else we're watching:
Unaccompanied minors from U.S. border bring hopes, challenges to Worthington. More than 130 unaccompanied migrant children have been sent this year from the U.S. southern border to southwestern Minnesota’s Nobles County. That’s a high count for a small county, and it’s creating challenges in the Worthington area to help those new arrivals.

You can now apply for Biden's student loan relief plan. Here's how. The administration published a beta version of the application last week. Since its launch on Friday, more than 8 million borrowers have already applied for debt relief, with no reported glitches or crashes according to the White House.
New poll shows that Walz has a slight lead over Jensen in tight Minnesota governor race. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and challenger Scott Jensen are poised to debate Tuesday night on television stations in Mankato, Rochester, Duluth and Fargo. It’s the only televised debate in the Minnesota gubernatorial race this year. Ahead of the debate, a new poll from MinnPost and Embold Research shows Walz maintaining a slight lead over Jensen with 47 percent compared to Jensen’s 42 percent.
