More Goodtaste This Weekend!
This weekend on Goodtaste, we go BIG on burgers, pizza, and more! Our first stop is an acclaimed Texas music venue in New Braunfels that serves up epic burgers like the “Freiheit Extreme”—a half-pound cheeseburger loaded with crispy bacon, mushrooms, and grilled onions. We also meet a man there who has eaten one every Saturday for the last 300 weeks! Then we head to a North Texas eatery where we “pig out” on popular dishes like Fruity Pebbles French Toast and a wood-fired pizza called “The Pig,” layered with three kinds of pork! Lastly, we get an authentic taste of India at an award-winning restaurant in Houston that prepares some of the best chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and fresh-baked naan we’ve ever tried. Pizza night is almost quicker than delivery with this cheesy white pie from Cork & Pig in Irving. Topped with a creamy garlic sauce, lemon zest, fresh tomato, and avocado, it’s unexpectedly bright and fresh!
