MEDIA WINNER:
Shannon Bream

Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream was impressively persistent when pressing newly elected Arizona Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign.

In an interview on Sunday, Bream asked Sanders if she plans to back Trump in 2024, noting that the bio on Sanders' official page as governor describes her as a "trusted confidant of President Trump."

Sanders effusively praised her former boss — as is tradition — yet did not go so far as to back him, adding, "right now, my focus isn’t 2024."

Bream didn’t give up, asking Sanders if she was waiting to see who else enters the primary.

Sanders sidestepped yet again, so the Fox News anchor tried once more, and pointed to a New York Magazine column from 2021 in which Sanders was floated as a potential vice presidential candidate for either Trump or Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

Yet another time, Sanders refused to answer the question.

While she didn't get a straight answer from Sanders, Bream raised an important question for any Republican — and asked all the right follow-up questions.

Robert Jeffress

Few Donald Trump toadies have been as obsequious throughout the years as televangelist Robert Jeffress, who took one look at the porn star-loving reality TV show star in 2016 and said, with gusto: this is a candidate Christians should get behind.

That fealty did not save the televangelist from Trump.

Speaking to Real America’s Voice this week, Trump called out the “great disloyalty” from evangelical leaders — including Jeffress — who have not yet endorsed his 2024 campaign.

Jeffress's sin? He said that while he would support another Trump run, he wanted to wait until after the primaries to endorse a candidate.

The years of support from Jeffress was apparently an insufficient gesture, dismissed in seconds during this latest interview. Trump slammed evangelical leaders' inability to give him a straight endorsement as "a great disloyalty in the world of politics."

Trump also made sure to clarify that he doesn’t actually “care” about these endorsements.

As we've seen time and time again, being a devoted Trump supporter doesn't guarantee his attention, nor immunity from his vitriol.
