Media Winners & Losers

MEDIA WINNER:
Stuart Varney

Fox News’ Stuart Varney confronted his colleague Rachel Campos-Duffy over former President Donald Trump’s often violent rhetoric.

In a heated debate on the Monday edition of Varney & Co, the host asked Campos-Duffy about a photo Trump shared and later deleted, which showed him holding a baseball bat next to a picture of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

"Does the country support Trump wielding a baseball bat threatening mayhem and calling Alvin Bragg an animal?" he asked his pro-Trump colleague. "Is that what we want to see in a presidential candidate?”

Campos-Duffy dodged the question, prompting Varney to again ask if Trump's behavior was popular amongst voters.

She dodged again, bringing up Trump and President Joe Biden's respective FBI raids. Varney eventually steered the conversation back on track, repeating his question.

She conceded that while some of Trump's behavior bothers her and other voters, she prioritizes his "strength."

Props to Varney for confronting a colleague, and for relentlessly pressing Campos-Duffy until she answered his question.

MEDIA LOSER:
Michael Knowles

Daily Wire host Michael Knowles declared White people the "least racist people in the world and in the United States," adding that they are "pretty much the only victims of formal de jure systemic racism."

Knowles made the brainless comments in response to Don Lemon accusing former President Donald Trump of being racist toward Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The host condemned Lemon on Monday's edition of The Michael Knowles Show, also defending Trump by reasoning, “White people generally are the least racist people on earth."

Knowles went on to argue that White people are mocked for having "bad taste in music" and enjoying bland food, adding that they are also discriminated against when it comes to hiring processes and college admissions.

He then somehow concluded that White people are not only the least racist people in the world, but that they are also "the only victims of formal de jure systemic racism.

While it might be difficult to verify which demographic is the least racist (although pretty easy to assume it is not White people), it is certain that the White community is not the only victim of "de jure systemic racism."
