Calif. bill targets sexual harassment in Silicon Valley

Legislation from California state Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson aims to end sexual harassment in the venture capital industry and to protect women in investor-entrepreneur relationships. Jackson says the bill is a response to reports of women "sexually harassed, propositioned or threatened" by investors in Silicon Valley.

Survey: Small companies dropping health plans
The trend of companies with fewer than 10 workers shutting their health care plans is continuing, a survey by the Employee Benefit Research Institute found. In 2016, health care coverage was provided by 21.7% of these firms, compared with 22.7% in 2015 and 35.6% in 2008.
