Call for posters and award nominees now open!

Feels like the 2022 ACDIS annual conference is right around the corner. While the event takes place May 2-5—the early bird registration deadline is February 28!

We have an exciting agenda filled with networking opportunities, five informative tracks, and more than 50 educational sessions to choose from. There’s still a chance for you to get involved! Consider applying for one of 40 open slots for poster presenters or nominating yourself or a peer for the prestigious ACDIS Achievement Awards.

ACDIS Poster Presentations
ACDIS poster presentations are a conference within the conference. Posters are roughly three feet high by four feet wide (you can create it yourself or have it printed at Staples or other office supply store) and illustrate an innovative project, newly established protocol, or successful educational outreach from your program. Presentation segments typically include: introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion. Presenters agree to discuss their topic with passers-by during dedicated networking break times during the conference. They’re an amazing way to share your ideas and program initiatives in an easy-to-digest format. Successful applicants receive $200 off the price of conference admission. To submit your application, click here. The deadline for applications is January 28.

ACDIS Achievement Awards
Every year, ACDIS calls on those working in the field to take a moment of reflection, look around at their colleagues and associates to celebrate the achievements of those who go above and beyond their daily record review duties to help make a difference in their department, in their organization, in their immediate CDI community, and within the broader CDI profession. We encourage you to collaborate with your CDI teams and ACDIS local chapters to nominate someone for one of our five awards—the Professional of the Year, Recognition of Professional Achievement, Excellence in Provider Engagement, Rookie of the Year, and Diversity in CDI.

Visit the ACDIS website to learn more about the qualifications related to each award and, when you’re ready, begin the application process. We know there are amazing people across the country doing groundbreaking work in the field and we can't wait to honor them! The Professional of the Year Award winner receives complimentary admission to the annual conference and all other award winners receive 50% off the conference admission cost. The deadline for applications is January 28.
