SCIENCE MISSION DIRECTORATE:

3-DAY VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

Our second Science Mission Directorate virtual event, a three-day workshop, will take place from October 30th - November 1st. We are currently accepting abstracts from the community to introduce mission concepts, research questions, and considerations based on discussions at the first event.


The deadline for submissions is September 4th, 2024, at 5PM Eastern time.

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

Abstract Guidelines

  • No late or revised abstracts will be accepted, regardless of the reason.
  • Abstracts are limited to two pages.
  • All abstracts must be submitted as PDF files.
  • All abstracts must be submitted in U.S. letter-sized format (8.5 inches × 11 inches).
  • Abstract file sizes are limited to 3 MB.
  • If not using the template provided, leave a one-inch margin on all four sides of your document.


Authors are encouraged to start the submission process early so workshop staff will have time to provide assistance. For assistance, email Erin Manik.


Abstract Revisions (before the deadline)

If you need to replace your abstract file or correct the information submitted on the form, return to the abstract submission portion of the meeting portal and click on the “Update” link that appears next to the title of the abstract you submitted.


Preparation and Submission of Abstracts

  1. Download the appropriate template attached here.
  2. Write the abstract using the format shown in the template.
  3. Create a PDF file.
  4. Submit your abstract on the call for abstracts page.
