Call for volunteers to test Carmin.tv - an audiovisual platform for mathematics

The international research centers CIMPA (Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées), CIRM (Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques), IHES (Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques), and IHP (Institut Henri Poincaré) have launched the beta version of Carmin. tv, an open access audiovisual platform for mathematics and its interactions with other sciences (notably physics, computer science and biology).

This project is part of LabEx CARMIN (Centres d'Accueil et de Rencontres Mathématiques INternationales), and it has been developed with the support of their partners and managing organizations, and of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).

With more than 4,000 videos already available on Carmin.tv, more than 3,500 hours of lectures and mathematical discussions are now available on a single platform, which thus gathers the contributions of more than 2,700 speakers, in either English or French.

LabEx CARMIN is currently looking for volunteers to optimize this tool and to best meet researchers' needs. To test the platform and express your feedback, please go to https://carmin.tv and fill out the satisfaction survey.
