Rising to the Challenge
Get Your Photo On the Cover of Aviation Week:
Enter Our Annual Photo Contest!
2020 is a year like no other, with the challenges of COVID-19 restricting travel and leading to cancellation of aviation events. We recognize that and are taking some important steps to keep this year’s Aviation Week Network Photo Contest relevant by:

  • Introducing a new category for telling the story of COVID-19 through photos. We are looking for standout images that tell the story of COVID-19’s impact on the aviation and aerospace business to our digital and print readers.
  • Expanding this year’s contest to feature the best photos of the century, back to 2000. With travel and events limited, take a look back in your personal photo archive and enter your favorites. Of course, new photos are also welcome.
As always, winning photos will appear in Aviation Week & Space Technology and on AviationWeek.com, which will have new and improved photo galleries.

Enter in as many of the five categories as you wish: Commercial Aviation, Defense, Business and General Aviation, Space and The COVID-19 Challenge. There is a nominal $5 entry fee per photo.

Winners and finalists will appear in the December 9 print and digital issues of Aviation Week & Space Technology and on AviationWeek.com. Prizes of up to $500 await – not to mention worldwide recognition as one of the best aviation and aerospace photographers.

To learn more about the contest, view last year’s winners and finalists and enter, go to AviationWeek.com/photo-contest. The deadline for entries is Oct. 5. If you have questions about the contest, please contact us at photocontest@aviationweek.com.

We look forward to seeing your entries.
