WHERE DID WE LEAVE OFF?
Queen Elizabeth II continues to fight for the crown’s relevance and traditional values, leaving an unhappy Prince Charles and Princess Diana forced to stick out their marriage.
As the marriage crumbles, Charles’ steamy phone call with his lover, Camilla Parker Bowles, is recorded and (of course) leaked to the press. Then Charles tells his side of the story on TV. Enter: the revenge dress.
THE REVENGE WHAT?
Dress. Diana steps out in an iconic, off-the-shoulder black dress the same night Charles’ TV special airs. Later, we see the BBC approach Diana for a similar ‘tell-all’ interview.
CHARLES AND DIANA GET DIVORCED, RIGHT?
They sure do. Then a newly divorced Diana accepts Egyptian businessman Mohamed ‘Mou Mou’ Al Fayed’s invitation to travel to St. Tropez with his (soon-to-be-single) son, Dodi.
