As we start the “new normal” we are excited as to what the future holds, and the new opportunities waiting to be discovered. BritCham Vietnam would like to thank all of our members, friends and sponsors who helped us raise 1.8 billion VND for our chosen charities in 2020 and early 2021. The main fundraising activities were the two Fun Runs for HCMC and Hanoi.
This year, the BritCham Vietnam Charity Fun Run is back, but with a difference! Virtual runs and races have become the new normal in the past 18 months, giving people the sports outlet they need. Runners will be able to run wherever they are, tracked online by Strava, you can run inside, outside, on roads or trails, up steps, up mountains or by the sea – The choice is yours!
Step Up for Vietnam is definitely a fun run, you can make it whatever you want it to be, it’s about taking part and helping others. The event will take place from 1st to 5th December, allowing people to choose when, where and how much to do.
We are aware that so many have suffered throughout the last 18 months and we want to do what we can to give something back. Let’s make the most of the new normal and help others while also helping ourselves. Keeping in mind that children are our future, the recipients charities for this year’s Fun Run include: Blue Dragon Children’s Charity, Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, Newborns Vietnam, and SaigonChildren’s Charity.
On the 4th & 5th of December we will be LIVE with activities, interviews and support for the Step up for Vietnam community.Sponsors will also be invited to a reception for us to honour your generous contribution to the Event.
