Following an investigation into a breach of its standards, The Social Housing Regulator recently found Camden Council to have caused “actual and potential serious detriment to Camden’s tenants” due to fire safety failings.
Expected to be the largest built environment product testing facilities in the UK when it opens in 2025, Warringtonfire has announced its plans to open a new $30 million fire testing and certification facility in Warrington, UK.
While changes to building safety and building control are welcome, those responsible for implementing them are not well placed to deliver them and are unable to effectively carry out their enhanced roles to ensure buildings in Wales are safe.
