I've gotta say, I'm proud of you all. You always want to wait as long as possible to set up your Fantasy draft, and with the majority of CBS Fantasy drafts taking place this weekend or next week, that's exactly what you guys are doing.
Why is patience such a virtue, you ask? Well, we got a good reminder Tuesday, with the Braves surprisingly coming to an agreement with free agent outfielder Yasiel Puig. Even with Nick Markakis sitting out and Freddie Freeman testing positive for COVID-19, this wasn't exactly the landing spot we'd imagined for Puig, but it certainly has plenty of ramifications, most specifically for Austin Riley, one of our favorite sleepers heading into draft weekend.
Of course, there's a lot more that is still unsettled, even beyond that signing. Scott White breaks down the Puig signing below, but you'll want to make sure you check out his latest Summer Camp notebook, with all the news you need to know from around the league. Plus, I answered some of your burning questions heading into your drafts, focused on which players to downgrade in a shorted season, why everyone loves Julio Urias, and what your Roto category targets should be for this season, among more. There's still time to cram, let's not waste it.
