Dear voornaam,
College and universities face monumental cybersecurity challenges. Protecting sensitive data, safeguarding network access and campus infrastructure, guarding against attacks â these and many other critical functions are an integral part of cybersecurity in higher education. And theyâve all been made even more complicated by the disruptions of the COVID pandemic. On January 28 at 10am PT/1pm ET the Center for Digital Education is bringing together IT leaders from three major public universities â the University of Oregon, The Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison â to discuss the challenges and opportunities of cybersecurity in higher education. Theyâll tell their own stories, in their own words, about how their institutions are meeting the demands of maintaining IT security in this new, uncertain environment.
Speakers: - Leo Howell, Chief Information Security Officer, University of Oregon
- Helen Patton, AVP and Chief Information Security Officer, The Ohio State University
