Eyes on Ukraine

Our eyes are on what's happening on the world stage today amid the invasion of the Ukraine. It's unclear how the consequences of this event will ripple out over the course of the year, but for now, we're following sources like Ukrainian journalist Nika Melkozerova and Mike Sapiton, deputy editor-in-chief at Forbes Ukraine. 

 

How are you thinking about this crisis? Do you see it affecting our local tech community? And, most importantly, what can we do to support each other as we head into what will be a challenging time? We’ll be watching and working to tell the stories we can, including one we shared today about cybersecurity, which you can read below.

 

In news closer to home, contributing reporter Ethan McLeod wrote about the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance efforts to share data with community groups across the city. Those groups, in turn, can use that data to fight displacement of long-term neighbors. Read the story below.
