Good morning, Senator Amy Klobuchar joins nine other Democratic presidential candidates in Texas for tonight's debate. She's hoping to finally break out after other candidates have dropped out of the race. Here's four things to watch. At 9:00 a.m. today Kerri Miller takes your calls and examines at the crowded field to consider which candidates are most electable. 

Plus, drone tech in Pennington County helps gather data to prevent and reduce pollution and erosion in drain ditches, and the Anti-Defamation League has seen Duluth's commitment to the synagogue fire investigation as a positive sign. 

In weather, it's more rain. Flash flood watches are in effect for the southern part of the state until 7 p.m. with periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms at times. On the day of the September Democratic presidential candidates’ debate you can hear two Democratic candidates who will NOT be on the debate stage:  U.S. Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado was in the first two debates, but failed to qualify this time. He criticized the Democratic National Committee, saying "The DNC's process is stifling debate at a time when we need it most. And it will not help us beat Donald Trump." Billionaire venture capitalist Tom Steyer joined the race late and didn't qualify for the September debate but he HAS qualified for the October debate. They spoke in separate interviews at the Commonwealth Club of California.
