Colleges to pilot apprenticeship program

The American Association of Community Colleges has partnered with the US Department of Labor for an initiative at 80 community colleges to expand apprenticeships and business partnerships. The Community College Apprenticeships initiative will use $20 million in federal funds to create 16,000 apprentices over the next three years.
