THE MARY SUE NEWSLETTER - Can we just talk about tomorrow? - 04/11/19

Hello, subscribers!

The big news of the day (besides being two weeks to Avengers: Endgame, can you tell we're excited?) is that Disney is expected to reveal details on the Disney+ streaming service. (CNN's got a liveblog all prepped and ready to go for the 5PM EDT start time.) We've already heard the Winter Soldier/Falcon spinoff show is confirmed ...

We're also VERY excited about the start of Star Wars Celebration tomorrow, where we expect to learn a whole lot about Episode IX, including a title so that we can stop calling it Episode IX! Stay tuned!

Otherwise, Wikileaks' Julian Assange was arrested, which we've (kind of) covered on the site, and so was a former White House counsel under President Obama, which Politico believes is indicative of further developments to come from the work of the Mueller investigation. Michael Avenatti has also been indicted on 36 counts (unrelated to that investigation).

In SPACE!

A private spacecraft from Israel narrowly failed to land on the Moon today, crashing into it instead. In other space news, here's Katie Bouman, the woman who led the design of the algorithm to crate the first picture of a black hole out of radio telescope data, explaining how she pulled off that amazing accomplishment.

F*** Batman & More.

DC Universe's Titans has found its Bruce Wayne/Batman in Game of Thrones' Iain Glen. In the world of video games, highly anticipated The Last of Us 2 is also coming along , with a new casting announcement.
