Dear John,

I have a word for you today.

Renewal.

The root word, RENEW, is defined as:

To make like new: restore to freshness, vigor, or perfection.

: to make new spiritually: REGENERATE

: to restore to existence: REVIVE

: to make extensive changes in: REBUILD

This leaves me wondering… Are you feeling like it is a season for renewal?

It doesn’t matter what season you are in. The season for renewal doesn’t have to be Spring OR a New Year’s resolution.

It begins whenever you tell it to begin… Start when you want to start.

As Labor Day is approaching, I feel called to do the opposite of resting.

I feel called to reflect on the meaning of work.

Why are we on this Earth? Is it to run the rat race and live paycheck to paycheck?

Or maybe it is to build up your bank account?

Maybe it’s to live a beautiful life…

Maybe it’s to make a difference in the world…

Maybe it’s to keep a roof over your head and warm food for hungry bellies…

Whatever your answer is, I want you to have everything in life you want.

THAT is why I am doing something super unique and want to challenge you.
