Tenders were called this day 51 years ago for a major building in the Woden government offices precinct. 
The building, which is still standing, is called Scarborough House. In 1969, the 15-storey proposal would make it the tallest building in the Woden Town Centre, Phillip. Scarborough House is located at the northern end of the Woden complex.
