| | | Hami Hill Dads - NEW fathers support group Introducing the Hami Hill Dads - a social support group for fathers and their kids, meeting every second Sunday from 9-11am at local parks for a sausage sizzle. Founded by Greg Chapman, the group warmly welcomes all dads to be a part of this growing community. Here's Greg's story behind Hami Hill Dads:
“Six years ago, I embraced fatherhood and realised the importance of a support network for local dads, just like the various mothers’ groups and classes my wife had access to. It struck me that there was a noticeable absence of social support networks tailored for fathers. Faced with this gap, I decided to take the initiative and create something meaningful! Earlier this year I attended the 6163 Soup night, where I connected with the City of Cockburn community development team. They backed this idea and provided project support to bring our vision to life. Now we have been getting more dads joining us every fortnight with their kids for a sausage sizzle, cuppa and a play in the park”. Greg Chapman, Founder of Hami Hill Dads |
